Let me fade away

So while helping a friend with her art work today, I managed to get what I think is a pretty awesome shot of a leaf

The light was fading so we had to work pretty quick and not all shots were intentional ... hopefully her teacher will be happy with her work and I can breath a sigh of relief

This was one of those shots that I don't think I could have gotten even if i tried. It was just a case of the right circumstances at the right time all coming together. If I remember correctly, she was holding the leaf up slightly and I quick took a shot even though I wasn't entirely sure if it was focused or not. We were losing the light and I just wanted to get a few more in as fast as I possibly could

Anyway ... leaf from the garden, natural light and slight editing on GIMP

I loved the way the shot came out. There was something about it that made me pause for a moment and smile. I doubt I could replicate this shot even if I tried my best
